Punk meets Old-Time

This evening I got to jam with some folks. First, my buddy Bryan who I met in the summer. He is a music major, and a killer jazz guitarist (also Almann Bros) He was very interested in my music, as I was with his - man he could tear it up. Then, I played with the mohawk guy thats always playing in the lobby. We had a really good time. I played along with some of his rock stuff, and then he gave a really powerful twist on some old-time tunes. We drew a bit of a crowd. One brother started freestyle rapping to a rocking powerchord version of cripple creek. Talk about diversity - Bluegrass/Rock/Rap. Good times.
