jamming
This photo was taken at the Black Banjo Then & Now Gathering in Boone, NC last weekend. For 4 days, I attended seminars, discussions, concert, and jam sessions centered around the African-American origins of the banjo and related music. There were people literally from all over the world there. I made friends of many ages, cultures, and races. It was a great experience. I'm jamming with some other folks in this one. Hunter might say this is folkin steve at his best.

This is at Toys R Us during the midnight madness event, when the new Star Wars toys came out. 14 of us went after a Campus Crusade for Christ event in Charlotte. Here I am pulling my Yoda out of the box it was shipped in. Lots of fun.
